Video storage and browser-only tools

Video projects use server storage

Uploading a video sends it to server-side processing and private media storage. Caption generation, rendering, speaker processing and dubbing can use the services enabled for that deployment. Use media you are authorised to process and avoid uploading sensitive recordings until the service terms meet your needs.

File-only tools stay in the browser

The independent free subtitle tools process subtitle text locally in your browser. They do not need a video upload or an account. Download the result before closing the tool; a file-only conversion does not create a cloud video project.

Keep copies and check deletion

Download source files and important exports before clearing browser data or losing access to a guest session. Retention and deletion lifecycle policies have not yet completed production acceptance. Do not assume clearing a browser cache deletes server media, or that an inaccessible guest project has been erased. Voice-clone recordings also need an agreed retention policy before sensitive real use.
