Resize the canvas and position captions
Choose the frame
Open Canvas and choose an aspect ratio that fits the destination. A vertical frame suits many short-video feeds; a wide frame may preserve more of the original footage. Preview the crop before exporting.
Position captions
Open Layout and move captions away from faces, important objects and platform controls. Check the longest lines and any changes of speaker. Leave enough space around the text so it remains readable on a small screen.
Check the whole video
A subject can move outside a crop later in the video. Play through scene changes and export a sample. Canvas changes affect the rendered copy; keep the original source if you need a different version later.
