Use a look, keep your own words

Classic outline uses a clear white face and dark edge, Yellow bold emphasizes short high-contrast lines, and Word highlight draws attention to timed words. These silent square samples center the text for comparison and use illustrative timing. Preview the exported clips, choose a look and import your video below. The style applies to that new project without replacing its subtitle text or timing.

A style is not a complete video template

These are NewSubtitles caption presets, not proprietary CapCut or TikTok assets. You can change the font, size, color and position in the editor. Imported SRT/VTT usually contains cue timing rather than exact word timing, so word highlighting may use an estimate. Check the preview against the sound instead of assuming every word is aligned.

Check readability at phone size

Play a long line and test bright and dark scenes. Keep the words away from faces and the destination platform's controls. Use a font with glyphs for your language. Uploaded fonts stay with their project; saving a style in this browser does not make its font available in every other project.

Export the effect you preview

An MP4 burns the chosen style into the picture. SRT and VTT are separate plain-text caption files and do not preserve the full font, animation or layout. Free video export is watermarked 720p; Pro and Max include watermark-free HD and subtitle-file downloads.
